NEW Testing Offerings Now Available!
Functional lab testing offers a tremendous diagnostic benefit. Connecting the dots between symptoms and the underlying cause can be complicated and often results in a little bit of trial and error. Adding functional diagnostic testing allows me to clearly identify the underlying cause of my clients’ health concerns and to accurately development a targeted, customized plan for resolving these health conditions.
I am now partnering with Wendy Cuba-Danca, a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, to offer these functional lab tests. Wendy has been a health and wellness coach for over 10 years and has successfully coached her clients to meet their weight loss and health goals. Further, she has been a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner for the last 3 years. The goal of Functional Diagnostic Nutrition (FDN) is to investigate and identify hidden healing opportunities across a wide spectrum of physiological systems such as the endocrine, immune and digestive systems, as well as detoxification pathways, including the use functional lab testing. Wendy is knowledgeable and truly passionate about what she does. The opportunity to combine forces, including the addition of functional lab testing, is a great compliment to my practice and provides a great value and benefit to my clients.
NEW Functional Lab Tests Offerings:
1. Food Sensitivity Testing (US Biotek IgG): Food sensitivities can be correlated to a variety of health conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Crohn’s Disease, Eczema, Autoimmune conditions, as well as many others. The proper identification of foods that trigger these immune responses and elimination of these foods, often results in the resolution of the symptoms. This finger prick test assesses a number of common reactive foods and it is a fundamental tool used to identify these trigger foods. $159
2. GI – MAP: Our GI tract contains an entire microbial ecosystem, called the “microbiome.” This ecosystem is crucial to our health and any imbalances of the microbiome can result in inflammation, impaired immunity, digestive dysfunction, hormone imbalances, alterations in mood, as well as impaired metabolism. Our gut contains both “good” and “bad” bacteria at any given time. This stool analysis test is used to assess the balance between the populations of beneficial and pathogenic bacteria within our digestive tract. This test evaluates the presence of a variety of microorganisms including bacteria, parasites, viruses, as well as yeast. $359
3. Precision Analytical’s DUTCH Complete: DUTCH stands for Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones. This test provides a comprehensive assessment of sex and adrenal hormones that is both accurate and convenient. Key test markers include estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, melatonin, as well as some key organic acids which can specially identify key nutrient deficiencies. $250
4. Zyto: This test is a simple and painless biocommunication scan. The test is conducted using the Zyto Hand Scanner. Subtle energetic impulses are introduced and your body’s responses are recorded. In essence, a ZYTO scanner asks questions of your body and records the responses in the form of signals it receives. This feedback provides accurate information about your body’s needs within its different systems and organ functions. $195
*Note: Tests are offered as part of various programs and can also be done as an additional add-on to all my consulting services.
