More About Me

My Story

Lauren Sepe is a Clinical Nutrition Practitioner with a Master of Science in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport (UB) in Connecticut, where she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. Her training is rooted in a functional medicine approach—focused on identifying and addressing the root cause of health concerns rather than simply managing symptoms.

Lauren completed her clinical internship at The Kellman Wellness Center in New York City under Dr. Raphael Kellman, a pioneer in integrative and functional medicine. She continues to work with the Kellman Wellness Center as an in-house nutrition specialist, providing personalized, adjunct nutritional support within a collaborative, functional medicine model. Through this work, she supports patients with a wide range of complex health conditions, giving her extensive, ongoing clinical experience that she brings directly into her private practice.

In her private practice, Lauren works with clients across a variety of health concerns, using an individualized, science-based, whole-body approach. She integrates her clinical experience in functional medicine with targeted nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support areas such as metabolism, gut health, inflammation, energy, and overall wellness.

Lauren also has specialized experience supporting women in perimenopause and menopause. She previously served as a menopause coach with the Menopause Mastery program and holds a Menopause Coaching Specialist Certification (CSMC). While menopause is not her sole focus, it is a key area of expertise that allows her to provide more nuanced, targeted support for women navigating hormonal changes—particularly in areas such as weight management, sleep, energy, and symptom relief.

Lauren’s educational background also includes a Bachelor of Science from the College of William and Mary and a Master of Science from the University of Florida. She is a certified Holistic Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a certified Mind Body Eating Coach through the Institute for the Psychology of Eating. She is also a certified Pilates instructor, reflecting her belief in the importance of movement as a key pillar of overall health.

Prior to transitioning into the health field, Lauren spent nearly 18 years in the corporate world, working in management consulting in Washington, D.C., and in investment banking in New York City. During that time, she experienced her own health challenges. While medical treatment helped resolve her condition, she continued to experience lingering symptoms that impacted her quality of life. Through targeted diet and lifestyle changes, she was able to fully restore her health—an experience that ultimately inspired her to pursue a new career dedicated to helping others do the same.

Today, Lauren is known for her ability to combine broad clinical experience with specialized expertise, creating personalized, sustainable strategies that support long-term health. Whether working with complex conditions or hormone-related concerns, her approach is always rooted in understanding the individual and building a plan that works for their life.

Lauren lives in Windermere, Florida with her husband and their three rescue cats – she also has two stepsons. In her free time, she enjoys working out, spending time at the beach, and traveling.
